Job summary

Alliance Construction Solutions, LLC is seeking a motivated Project Administrative Support professional to help coordinate activities on designated projects. You will handle site administration, subcontractor submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, permit tracking, and drawing management to keep projects on time and within budget.

You will monitor sustainability logs, assist with quality control, manage closeout, and participate in safety meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction/architecture/engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 0–4 years of construction project engineering experience.
  • Construction field experience favorable.
  • OSHA 10-Hour, first aid favorable; Procore experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform site administration including subcontractor submittals, RFIs, OAC meeting minutes, permit tracking, etc.
  • Understand the project specifications and ensure they are being followed on the project
  • Maintain/update the project drawing set electronically and physically
  • Monitor project sustainability goals, including maintaining the proper logs/documentation and reviewing products for sustainability compliance with project requirements
  • Assist with quality control documentation and testing, including documenting work on the building envelope, window testing, etc.
  • Manage the project closeout process, including the punch list, owner training materials, procuring, and tracking attic stock materials and reviewing as-builts, O&Ms, and warranty requirements.
  • Attend safety meetings and assist crew with spotting/resolving jobsite hazards.
  • Follow Best of Class metrics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction/architecture/engineering or equivalent experience
  • 0-4 years of construction project engineering experience
  • Construction field experience favorable
  • OSHA 10-Hour, first aid is favorable
  • Should have some experience in Procore

Physical Activities:

Key: Rarely (0-20%), Occasionally (21-50%), Frequently (51-80%), and Continuously (81+%)

  • Frequent standing and walking in the office and job sites
  • Continuous repetitive motions of the hands/wrists
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds

This role, depending on the project, may be located in the office or at a project in the jobsite trailer. In either environment the employee will be required to visit/be on jobsites with uneven ground and be regularly exposed to construction site hazards. This position generally requires 8 hours a day, if not sometimes more depending on the project. The workweek is Monday-Friday and occasionally on weekends/nights depending on the project.
