Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Construction Management Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects for Instrumentation & Controls and Network infrastructure systems. You will work with engineering, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and successful facility turnover.

Required: bachelor's in engineering and 2–3 years in large commercial construction; proficiency with MS Office and PM tools; Jira experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or related).
• 2–3 years of experience supporting large commercial construction projects (semiconductor, Datacenter experience a plus).
• Experience coordinating engineering construction, contractors and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction activities for assigned projects.
• Review engineering drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
• Coordinate with contractors and cross-functional teams.
• Support Instrumentation & Controls and/or Network infrastructure installations.
• Oversee cable routing, fiber/copper infrastructure, and system integration.
• Support commissioning, testing, and project turnover.
• Resolve field engineering and construction issues.
• Track project schedule, quality, safety, and cost.
• Identify process improvements and drive execution efficiency.
