The Construction Procurement Buyer role procures services, fixtures and equipment for the Meijer Properties organization. The role is responsible to strike an optimal balance between cost, quality, delivery and service in a fast-paced environment; Work closely with the business stakeholders to give the organization a competitive advantage; and evaluate supplier’s capabilities, negotiate and administer contracts as necessary. The Buyer may participate in the writing of specifications, prepares bid forms and handles bidding process, analyzes bid results and makes recommendations, awards business, authorizes and signs purchase orders.
