Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic and is eager to learn.
• Mechanical aptitude is preferred for handling tools and materials.
• Ability to lift, carry, and work with tools and materials throughout the day.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions from leadership.
• Valid driver’s license preferred for travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced plumbers with installations on new construction and renovation projects.
• Load, unload, organize, and prepare materials, tools, and equipment for each jobsite.
• Learn commercial plumbing systems, materials, tools, and installation techniques on the job.
• Assist with installing piping, fixtures, valves, and other plumbing components.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards.
• Read blueprints and project specifications.
• Support the team by completing assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow written and verbal instructions from lead plumbers and leadership.
• Communicate professionally with teammates, customers, contractors, and other trades on the jobsite.

What You’ll Do

As a Commercial Plumbing Helper, you’ll assist experienced plumbers while learning the skills needed to build a successful career in commercial plumbing.

Commercial Plumbing Helper Qualifications

• Plumbing or construction experience is a plus but not required
• Mechanical aptitude preferred

Requirements

• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Must reside in Tennessee at the time of hire and maintain Tennessee residency throughout employment
