What Your Day Will Look Like

As an office engineer, you’ll provide essential administrative, technical, and organizational support for construction projects, bridging the gap between the field and office to manage documentation, coordinate schedules, ensure project compliance, and prepare progress reports. You’ll review project plans, manage documentation flow, coordinate with project teams, and ensure adherence to budgets and deadlines. The office engineer reports to the project manager.

Pay: $50 - $60 Hourly

What You'll Do
  • Process and manage project submittals and other technical documents required for project completion.
  • Present and interpret technical data and project information in a clear and organized manner.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records to support project compliance and auditing requirements.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Minimum two years with construction management experience.
  • Must have a valid driver\'s license with a good driving record.
  • This field job primarily operates in outdoor work environments that may include exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazard, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.
  • While performing the duties of this job, physical demands of the employee may include frequent talking, hearing, standing, moving, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, balancing, coordination, and occasional sitting or operating a company vehicle. This job may require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs.
