Job summary

Baker Installations is hiring a Fiber Installation Technician to install Fiber and Cable TV, high‑speed internet and digital phone services for residential and commercial customers. The role involves re-wiring Multi-Dwelling Residential Units and related tasks, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

We welcome experienced technicians or people with backgrounds in Construction, Roofing, Electrical, Alarms, Satellite, Maintenance/repair, or Service work, and offer strong growth

Qualifications

Baker Installations currently has an opening for a Fiber installation Technician. This work involves re-wiring Multi-Dwelling Residential Units, as well as other residential and commercial work as may be assigned.

We are hiring experienced technicians or people experienced in Construction, Roofing, Electrical, Alarms, Satellite, Maintenance/repair, or Service work.

Our Technicians achieve superior results as they install Fiber and Cable TV, high-speed internet and digital phone services for residential and commercial customers. • Be at least 21 years old
• Be able to carry and climb an 80-pound, 28' extension ladder, many times each day
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have a valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Maximum body weight 275 pounds to comply with safety limitations of equipment
• No fear of heights or confined spaces. Ability to climb through attics and crawlspaces. Work in hot and cold conditions and in insulated attics.
• Be flexible to regional company paid overnight travel when required
