Braun Intertec is hiring a field technician to join our construction materials testing (CMT) team in Lenexa, Kansas. This role welcomes candidates with any level of CMT experience and offers in-depth technical training and certifications upon successful completion of examinations and demonstrations of ability.

Onsite work on commercial and transportation projects requires comfort working outdoors in varied weather, and the ability to lift 50-75+ pounds.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for the last 3 years.
• The ability to lift 50-75+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform field density tests of soils.
• Perform field concrete testing, including slump, air content, and strength.
• Prepare daily reports.
• Work with project managers and senior technicians to ensure specifications are followed.
• Perform routine sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.

Entry-level and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.Technicians perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. Onsite materials testing is conducted on various commercial and transportation construction projects.The chosen candidate(s) will receive in-depth technical training and industry certifications upon successful completion of examinations and demonstration of ability.
