Job summary

Braun Intertec in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Construction Materials Lab Technician to perform testing on soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. You will receive and log samples, perform tests, and assist with regulatory assessments.

Requirements include 2+ years in construction materials labs, a High School diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Training with our QA system and equipment maintenance is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of construction materials lab experience required.
• Must have valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 50–75+ pounds.
• ACI, MnDOT and related industry certifications preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).

Responsibilities

Job description

Braun Intertec is seeking a Construction Materials Lab Technician to join our Bloomington, MN office. As a technician, you will perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log concrete and soil samples
• Performs and understand various laboratory test procedures
• Assist in AMRL and CCRL (regulatory standards) assessments
• Assist with Braun Quality system for the laboratory
• Enter and understand lab data
• Maintain laboratory equipment in good operating condition
• Other miscellaneous laboratory tasks as assigned

Required Skills

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• ACI, MnDOT and related industry certifications preferred
• Must have valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
• The ability to lift 50-75+ pounds

Required Experience

Compensation Range: $43,600.00 - $65,400.00
