S&ME in Greenville, NC is hiring Construction Materials Engineering Technicians at all levels to join our Construction Services team. The role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities to advance while contributing to safe, quality projects for diverse clients.
You will perform field and lab tests on concrete, asphalt, soil, and aggregates, collect samples, interpret results, and collaborate with engineers and project managers.

As a Construction Materials Engineering Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring construction projects, from local eateries to major sports venues, are built with quality and safety at the forefront. Seasoned professionals can take on leadership roles, guiding projects and mentoring colleagues.
Experience shifting work hours based on project demands and weather, including early mornings, some Saturdays, and overtime (paid at time and a half). Occasional travel to support other offices is covered with per diem and lodging.
Compensation and technician level will be based on experience and industry certifications.
