Job summary

TSIT is seeking a Construction Materials Engineering Technician to support infrastructure and development projects across North Texas. This role blends field and lab work to test soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates, ensuring quality and safety.

You will collect samples, document results, and use standard field equipment; training is provided. We offer paid training, certification support, and career growth opportunities in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Basic math and communication skills.

What You’ll Do

Preferred (but Not Required)

• 1 year of construction materials testing (CMT) experience
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician — Grade I, and/or SB102 and/or, 1A and/or 1B certifications
• Nuclear Density Gauge certification or ability to obtain within 90 days (training provided)
