Job summary

Resource Options, Inc. is seeking a reliable field-oriented Construction Materials Testing technician to support active projects across New Jersey.

This role requires daily travel to job sites to perform materials testing, document results, and ensure compliance with project specs, safety requirements, and industry standards. The ideal candidate has at least one year of CM Testing experience, OSHA 10, and a valid driver’s license, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of construction materials testing experience.
• Hands-on testing of concrete, soil, and reinforcing steel.
• OSHA 10 certification is required.
• ACI certification preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness for extensive daily travel and fieldwork.
• Strong attention to sampling techniques and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform construction materials testing for concrete, soils, and reinforcing steel
• Travel to project sites throughout New Jersey (up to 2 hours one way, as needed)
• Collect samples and conduct field tests in accordance with established procedures
• Accurately complete and submit daily reports, test results, and documentation
• Work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions
• Maintain testing equipment and tools (mileage and tools reimbursed)
• Follow all site safety requirements and company protocols
• Communicate effectively with project teams regarding testing activities and results

Pay Range: $22.00/hr. - $25.00/hr.
