Job summary

Cyprus Point Construction is seeking a Driver / Material Runner in Taylor, MI to support daily construction operations by transporting materials, tools, and equipment between vendors, facilities, and active job sites. You will help ensure crews receive the right materials on time while maintaining safety and vehicle upkeep.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver's license, ability to lift and move materials, strong communication, and the capability to work independently with supervision.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, carry, load and unload construction materials and equipment.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow directions and complete pickups/deliveries accurately.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with supervisors and teams.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to job sites.
• Make material runs to suppliers and vendors.
• Verify materials and quantities before leaving suppliers.
• Maintain receipts, packing slips, invoices and related documentation.
• Communicate needs and updates with project managers and crews.
• Load and unload materials safely and keep vehicles clean and in good condition.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report safety concerns.
• Follow safety procedures and project-site requirements.
