Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Construction Manager Trainee to support the construction management process. You will assist with job scheduling, inspect sites for safety, complete punch lists, and help with new home orientation tasks.

The role also covers site cleanliness, model/inventory upkeep, and addressing service issues. You’ll participate in meetings and training with division personnel, subcontractors, and homeowners, preparing for future leadership in construction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 0–2 years in homebuilding/construction preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills and computer literacy (MS Office).
• Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining job schedules.
• Inspect and enforce job safety requirements.
• Complete punch lists and assist in new home orientation items.
• Attend construction meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
• Ensure job site cleanliness and assist with model/inventory maintenance.
• Assist with service-related issues on projects.
• Interact daily with division personnel, subcontractors, partners, and homeowners.

The Construction Manager Trainee supports the construction management process by assisting with job scheduling, inspecting job sites for safety compliance, and helping complete punch lists and new home orientation tasks. This role also ensures job site cleanliness, assists with model and inventory maintenance, and helps address service-related issues. Your Responsibilities On The Team

• Assist in preparing and maintaining job schedules.

• Completes ‘punch lists’ and assists in completion of new home orientation lists.


• Attend construction meetings and training classes as scheduled.


• Ensure job site cleanliness and assists in completion of model/inventory maintenance.

• Daily interaction with various division personnel, subcontractors, business partners, and homeowners.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or 0-2 years of homebuilding/construction experience.


• Construction Experience is preferred.


• Must be able to work in a fast –paced, team-oriented setting.


• Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills.


• Computer literacy and proficient in MS Office products (Word and Excel).


• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.


• Valid Auto Insurance Coverage.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
