Job summary

Bilfinger Industrial Services Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager for large chemical/manufacturing plant projects. You will plan, schedule, budget, and execute self-perform and subcontracted work to meet safety, cost, and quality targets.

Responsibilities include bid package prep, detailed estimates, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring adherence to contract requirements. Occasional travel may be required; a Bachelor's in a related field is highly desired.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the industrial or commercial construction industry.
• Experience in civil, structural and architectural of new construction, alterations, and maintenance.
• Overseeing chemical, manufacturing, engineering and office facility operations and systems.
• Extensive knowledge of construction means, methods, codes and regulations.
• Experience producing detailed estimates.
• Adapt to a fast-paced work environment and demonstrate integrity.
• Lead and mentor project teams; strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, and PM software.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and manages projects within budget, on time, and with quality.
• Develops detailed project scope, estimates, and change management.
• Solicits and negotiates subcontractor proposals; manages buy-out.
• Establishes and maintains schedules; tracks progress and submittals.
• Supports business development and client communications.
• Ensures compliance with HSEQ guidelines and local requirements.
