Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Construction Manager in Worthington, OH to lead full-cycle project delivery, from planning and budgeting to scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management. You will review scope, coordinate with trades, and ensure on-site execution aligns with project goals.

You will also drive safety initiatives, manage change orders and costs, mentor staff, and collaborate with commercial and engineering teams to meet client expectations. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of progressive construction-management experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Current, unrestricted driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.
• No relocation offered; reside within a 75-mile radius of Worthington, OH.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle project delivery from planning and budgeting to scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Review technical requirements, scope of work, and timelines during project handoff.
• Track milestones and deliverables using project management tools; ensure on-site execution stays on course.
• Facilitate and lead project meetings with stakeholders and maintain clear communication.
• Coordinate Eaton’s work with other trades to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption.
• Manage project closeout activities including punch lists, warranty handoff, and transition to ownership.
• Act as primary on-site contact for all project-related activities.
• Promote safety initiatives across job sites in collaboration with District Operations.
• Oversee financial performance through cost control and change order management.
• Collaborate with commercial operations, sales engineers, and technical support to align client expectations.
• Implement strategic program-level changes from the Strategic Operations team.
• Mentor and guide team members to build project management capability.
