Job summary

Dream Finders Homes is seeking a Construction Manager in San Antonio to oversee newly built residential projects in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure blueprint accuracy, manage budgets, and coordinate with purchasing to resolve trades issues.

You will lead builder partnerships, monitor communication with sales orders, review subcontractor PO approvals, and conduct weekly team meetings. A strong background in residential construction and supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years construction experience.
• Valid driver's license with reliable automobile for on-site use.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred.
• Knowledge of building codes.
• 2+ years of residential home building experience.
• Homebuilding software experience (e.g. BuildPro).
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of blueprints, takeoffs and manage variance to budgets.
• Coordinate supply/trade issues with purchasing department.
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout project.
• Coordinate builder loading, start timing and pace.
• Monitor builder communication with sales orders to maximize closings and customer satisfaction while conducting weekly team meetings.
• Review/approve sub-contractor purchase orders.
• Conduct weekly individual planned encounters.
