Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting (CMC) seeks a Senior Construction Manager to serve as the Owner's Representative on a utility-scale solar project in Colorado. You will oversee EPC contractors across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines, monitor progress, safety, and quality, and protect the owner’s interests on schedule and budget.

The role sits in a lean owner's team with experts from civil, mechanical, and electrical fields.

Qualifications

• Must have strong construction management experience on utility-scale solar projects (200MW+ preferred).
• Experience as Owner's Representative, Construction Manager or senior EPC construction lead.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EPC construction activities across civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, budgets, quality and safety metrics.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, subcontractors and the developer's PM team.
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular reports.
• Identify and elevate construction risks, delays and quality issues.
• Oversee critical activities, inspections, electrical testing and milestones.
• Support completion and transition into commissioning.

CMC is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to support a renewable energy developer on a proposed utility-scale solar project in Colorado.The successful consultant will act as the Owner's Representative, overseeing EPC contractor performance and ensuring construction progresses safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.The role sits within a lean owner's-side project team, with support from civil, mechanical and electrical specialists as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee EPC construction activities across civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Monitor construction schedules, milestones, budgets, quality and safety performance.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, subcontractors and the developer's project management team.
• Attend construction progress meetings and provide regular reporting.
• Identify and elevate construction risks, delays and quality issues.
• Oversee critical construction activities, inspections, electrical testing and project milestones.
• Support construction completion and the transition into commissioning.

Required Experience

• Strong construction management experience on utility-scale solar projects, ideally 200MW+.
• Previous Owner's Representative, Construction Manager or senior EPC construction experience.
• Good understanding of civil, mechanical and electrical solar construction.
• Proven experience managing EPC contractors and overseeing project schedules and quality.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently within a lean project delivery team.
• Willingness to work on-site in Colorado.
