- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, internal teams, and other project stakeholders to maintain project schedules and resolve field issues.
- Monitor project costs, manage budgets, evaluate change orders, and support contract negotiations and cost-control efforts.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess construction progress, workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to project requirements.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and address schedule delays, cost variances, and construction challenges.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, environmental requirements, regulatory obligations, and company procedures.
- Coordinate permits, inspections, project documentation, and other requirements necessary to support construction execution.
- Lead project meetings and communicate progress, risks, budget updates, and key decisions to stakeholders and senior management.
- Maintain accurate project records, including schedules, contracts, change orders, progress reports, and other construction documentation.
- Promote a strong safety culture and foster effective collaboration among site personnel, contractors, and project teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5–7+ years of construction management experience, preferably within chemical, industrial, manufacturing, or process-industry facilities.
- Demonstrated project management experience involving construction schedules, budgets, contractor coordination, and resource planning.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, field execution, site safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, approximately 90%, to support projects across multiple sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with chemical processing facilities, industrial plants, or other complex process-industry construction projects.
- PMP, Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or other relevant professional certification.
