Job summary

Dream Finders Homes Company is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee the build of newly constructed residential homes in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure blueprint accuracy, manage budgets, and coordinate with purchasing to address supply/trade issues.

Key responsibilities include builder partnerships, quality monitoring, weekly team meetings, and approving subcontractor PO's, with a focus on safety and schedule compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with reliable automobile for on-site use.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred.
• 3–5 years construction experience preferred.
• Homebuilding software experience (e.g. BuildPro).

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of blueprints, takeoffs and manage variance to budgets.
• Coordinate supply/trade issues in project with purchasing department.
• Builder partnership: ensure quality standards and monitor communication with sales orders.
• Review/approve sub-contractor purchase orders.

Being responsible for the oversight of newly constructed residential homes, the Construction Manager will work in a fast-paced environment. Maintain attention to detail and enforce work-place safety requirements while meeting tight deadlines efficiently and effectively.

• Ensure accuracy of blueprints, takeoffs and manage variance to budgets.
• Coordinate supply/trade issues in project with purchasing department.
• Builder partnership:
  • Ensure quality standards are being met throughout project.
  • Monitor builder communication with sales orders to maximize closings and customer satisfaction while conducting weekly team meetings.
  • Review/approve sub-contractor purchase orders.
  • Conducts weekly individual planned encounters.

Required Experience

• Valid driver's license with reliable automobile for on-site use

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor's degree - Construction Management.
• 3-5 years construction experience
• Homebuilding software experience (e.g. BuildPro).
• Representative of an office/field setting.
• The noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
