Solx Holdings LLC seeks a Construction Manager to act as the owner's representative on a large, on-site manufacturing build in Puerto Rico. You will coordinate EPC/general contractor activities, lead field teams, enforce schedule and safety, and drive quality across civil, structural, MEP, and equipment installation.
The role requires 10+ years in construction management on complex projects, with EPC/GC oversight experience and a strong ability to read drawings, manage RFIs, and ensure on-site
Solx is building the next generation of intelligent manufacturing. Our factory floor is where advanced hardware meets advanced software — and where AI at the edge directly drives yield, throughput, quality, and uptime. We are investing in the systems, infrastructure, and talent to make our operations the most intelligent in the industry — and we are building the manufacturing capacity to match that ambition.
Be Solx's eyes, ears, and authority on the construction site. As Construction Manager, you are the owner's representative over the EPC and general contractor — the person on the ground who holds the physical build to the design, schedule, budget, quality, and safety we require. You will lead field superintendents and field QA/QC and make sure what gets built is what was drawn.
This is a hands‑on, on‑site role for a seasoned builder who has run large, complex projects and knows how to drive contractors without doing their job for them. You will coordinate across every trade — civil, structural, building, MEP, and equipment installation — and keep the work moving, safe, and in spec. You will report directly to the Project Manager.
The scope of this role spans the day‑to‑day field execution of a high‑tech manufacturing build‑out, including: contractor oversight, field QA/QC, construction safety, schedule adherence, inter‑trade coordination, inspections and testing, and commissioning readiness and closeout.
This is an on‑site role based at an active construction site. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The role typically requires the ability to:
