Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5 years of supervisory experience in highway/bridge design or construction management.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with project oversight, safety, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day coordination, management and supervision of contract construction for highway, bridge, traffic, electrical, and ITS projects.
• Interpret provisions of project plans, specifications, and designs; ensure on-schedule, within-scope delivery and high quality.
• Supervise Construction Management Residents and inspect workmanship, materials, and methods.
• Develop and implement operational plans, policies, and processes for construction field management.
• Prepare reports, coordinate with local/state/federal officials, and assist in procurement and asset management.
