Job summary

Roebbelen invites students to join the Construction Management Internship for Summer 2027 in Northern California. You will work with project engineers, managers and field teams on active projects, gaining hands-on experience from planning through execution.

Learn from mentors, participate in site visits, read plans, and help manage schedules, costs, quality, and safety while exploring career paths in construction. This paid internship offers real responsibility and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a construction-related program.
• GPA 2.5 or higher.
• Able to travel to project locations.
• Comfortable on both office and job site environments.
• Previous construction experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Walk active jobsites with project teams.
• Read and review plans and specifications.
• Support RFIs, submittals, document control, and project tracking.
• Participate in project and coordination meetings.
• Gain experience with Procore and other construction technology.

Construction Management Intern - Summer 2027

Build your career by helping build something real.

As aConstruction Management Intern at Roebbelen, you'll join a real project team, work alongside experienced construction professionals, and gain hands‑on experience on active projects throughout Northern California.

You'll learn from Project Engineers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and Trade Partners while seeing firsthand how construction comes together from planning through execution.

What You'll Do

Walk active jobsites with project teams

Read and review plans and specifications

Support RFIs, submittals, document control, and project tracking

Participate in project and coordination meetings

Work alongside Trade Partners and field teams

Gain experience with Procore and other construction technology

Learn how schedule, cost, quality, and safety come together

Gain exposure to both field operations and project management

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for students who are ready to learn, contribute, ask questions, and be part of a team.

You should be:

Currently enrolled in a construction-related university or community college program

In good academic standing with a GPA of 2.5 or higher

Curious, dependable, and collaborative

Comfortable working in both office and active jobsite environments

Able to travel to assigned project locations

Available to work 30+ hours per week during the internship

Previous construction experience is a plus, but not required.
