Job summary

BCCI Construction is seeking Summer Interns in Mountain View, California. Interns will engage in various construction responsibilities, including soliciting bids and managing procurement logs. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in construction management or related fields and possess strong communication skills.

This internship is for 8–10 weeks and offers a salary ranging from $22 to $27 per hour. Note that benefits are not included due to the short duration of the role.

Qualifications

• College degree in progress in construction management, architecture, engineering, and/or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read plans and specs.
• Effective written and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Solicit subcontractor bids.
• Perform quantity takeoffs.
• Administer subcontracts.
