Job summary

SpawGlass invites you to join as a Construction Management Intern in Beaumont, TX, to gain hands-on exposure across preconstruction through closeout. You will review plans, assist with submittals, RFIs, and quantity takeoffs while tracking schedules and logging meeting notes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing construction management or civil engineering program.
• Basic understanding of construction processes, drawings and terminology.
• Strong communication with field and office teams.
• Organized and eager to learn in a fast-paced setting.
• Reliable, punctual, adaptable, safety-minded with a positive attitude.
• Familiarity with MS Office; exposure to construction software is a plus.
• Willingness to work in both office and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, assist with submittals and RFIs, quantity takeoffs.
• Update schedules and take notes during meetings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and inspectors on site.
• Support site logistics, quality control and safety documentation.

As our Construction Management Intern, you will gain the fundamental hand-on experience that will drive your career in the construction industry. Your learning mindset and passion for building will support successful project execution while contributing to a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.

In this role, you will work with project teams from preconstruction through closeout ensuringwork is performed in accordance with project requirements, schedules, and safety standards.Your day-to-day activities may consist of reviewing plans, assisting with submittals and RFIs, quantity takeoffs, schedule updates, meeting notes, site logistics, quality control efforts, safety documentation, and coordination with subcontractors and inspectors.

Successful interns in this role are team players, motivated, dependable, and eager to learn, with a strong interest in construction management.

• Currently enrolled in a construction management, civil engineering, or related program preferred.
• Basic understanding of construction processes, drawings, and terminology.

• Reliable, punctual, adaptable, and safety-minded with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); exposure to construction software is a plus.
• Willingness to work in both office and field environments.
