Job summary

South College invites adjunct (part-time) faculty to deliver quality instruction across our programs, aligning with the mission and curriculum. You will engage students, support course outcomes, and participate in curriculum development as needed.

Applicants should hold a Doctorate or Master’s degree in the discipline, or a Master’s with 18 credits. Licensure documentation is required, and teaching or clinical experience is preferred. Commitment to ongoing professional development is expected.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree required, or Master’s with 18 credits in the discipline.
• Experience in teaching and/or practical/clinical experience preferred.
• Commitment to professional development and scholarly activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality instruction in assigned courses within the approved academic program curriculum.
• Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and student learning outcomes.
• Participate in committees when appropriate and support curriculum changes requested by leadership.
• Respond to information requests from the institution, employers, and students in a timely manner.
• Promote high standards of linguistic expression in written and oral communications.
• Adhere to institutional policies and complete documentation on deadlines.
