Job summary

Tag Conservation is seeking a Construction/Maintenance Worker to support maintenance, repairs and construction across multiple facilities. The role involves skilled trades like carpentry, painting, electrical work, plumbing and related tasks, with travel to different buildings as needed.

The position requires hands-on experience in building maintenance and a willingness to travel; duties include preparation and refinishing, installation of carpeting, and custodial tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and perform semiskilled tasks in maintenance, repair and construction.
• Assist with installation, maintenance and repair in basic building trades (carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, mechanics).
• Assist with construction, installation and maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets and other structures.
• Prepare and paint walls and woodwork; refinishing and related tasks; install or repair carpet; perform custodial duties as required.
• Must be willing to travel to different buildings.

Job Description

Performs variety of skilled duties in a building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing the building.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists and performs semiskilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of the Cbuilding
• Assists and performs with installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, and mechanics
• Assists and performs functions in the construction, installation and maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, marker boards/chalkboards, tack boards and a variety of other structures and items
• Prepares and paints walls and woodwork or performs other types of refinish; installs or repairs carpet; performs custodial duties as required
• Must be willing to travel to different buildings
