Job summary

Tag Conservation is seeking a Construction/Maintenance Worker to perform a variety of skilled duties in building trades, including painting, carpentry, and minor electrical or plumbing tasks to maintain and repair facilities.

You will travel between buildings as needed, assist with installations and upkeep of roofs, furniture, cabinets, shelving, and other structures, and ensure custodial duties are performed as required.

Qualifications

• Ensuring building maintenance and repair tasks are performed.
• Experience with common trades used in building upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Assists and performs semiskilled tasks in maintenance, repair and construction.
• Supports installation, maintenance and repair in carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, and related trades.
• Performs tasks for roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets and other structures.
• Prepares and paints walls and woodwork; may install or repair carpet; performs custodial duties as needed.
• Willingness to travel to different buildings.

Construction/Maintenance Worker

Job Description

Performs variety of skilled duties in a building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing the building.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists and performs semiskilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of the Cbuilding
• Assists and performs with installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, and mechanics
• Assists and performs functions in the construction, installation and maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, marker boards/chalkboards, tack boards and a variety of other structures and items
• Prepares and paints walls and woodwork or performs other types of refinish; installs or repairs carpet; performs custodial duties as required
• Must be willing to travel to different buildings
