Job summary

Blackfield Associates is seeking a Logistics Lead to support the Construction Director in delivering the Artemis Project GMP manufacturing facility in Colorado. You will oversee pre-construction planning, site logistics, and infrastructure sequencing, aligning with safety, schedule, cost, and quality requirements from design through construction.

Working with the CM partner, site operations, and stakeholders, you will manage material and equipment movement, site access, permits, and interfaces

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate the site logistics strategy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate construction activities with the CM partner, site operations, and other active projects to minimise disruption and ensure efficient execution.
• Lead logistics planning for major infrastructure works, including utilities, pipe racks, tank farms, stormwater systems, and underground services.
• Manage material deliveries, equipment staging, transportation, and onsite movement of resources.
• Coordinate site access, security requirements, permits, inspections, road closures, and controlled‑area access.
• Ensure alignment between construction, engineering, safety, environmental, and operations teams.
• Support constructability reviews, sequencing strategies, and change management activities.
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders to proactively resolve logistical constraints and interface issues.
• Maintain strong collaboration with safety teams to ensure all activities are planned and executed safely.
• Drive logistics solutions that support project objectives for safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance.
• Successful delivery of logistics and infrastructure activities supporting the construction of a compliant, state-of-the-art GMP manufacturing facility.
• Effective coordination of construction interfaces, site resources, and operational activities.
• Maintenance of a robust logistics plan aligned with project schedules and execution strategies.
• Safe and efficient management of material flow, equipment movement, workforce access, and construction support services.
• Proactive stakeholder engagement ensuring seamless collaboration between the project team, CM partner, site operations, and external authorities.

This role is responsible for supporting the Construction Director in the successful delivery of the Artemis Project, ensuring alignment with project scope, safety, schedule, cost, quality, and customer requirements from design through construction.

Working closely with the Construction Management (CM) partner, site operations, and project stakeholders, the Logistics Lead will oversee pre-construction planning, site logistics, infrastructure sequencing, and construction coordination activities.
