The ideal candidate has 4+ years in construction law or related commercial litigation, is an active Florida Bar member, and brings strong drafting, research, and advocacy skills from a law-firm environment.

• Strong litigation, drafting, research, and oral advocacy skills required

Responsibilities

• Support partners and counsel on construction litigation, commercial litigation, contract, licensing, and advisory matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, contracts, and client correspondence
• Conduct legal research involving case law, statutes, administrative regulations, public records, court dockets, DOAH records, and construction industry standards and codes
• Handle discovery, deposition preparation, client communications, opposing counsel communications, and trial support
• Manage deadlines, multiple matters, and competing priorities with professionalism and attention to detail
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and clients on construction industry disputes and legal strategy
