Job summary

The Walsh Group is currently seeking a Common Laborer to join the Central Water Group/South Mesquite BIDP#12 in Mesquite, Texas. The role involves physical labor on construction sites, operating hand and power tools, and assisting with site preparation and debris removal.

Responsibilities include working with crew members, following safety policies, and supporting project needs in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 1 year verifiable construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to climb and balance on scaffolds/ladders.
• Follow safety policies and communicate well with crew and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may stand/bend/squat for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor on construction sites as directed by supervisor.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools such as drills and hammers.
• Clean and prepare sites, erect scaffolding, and remove debris.
• Load and unload construction materials manually and with equipment.
