Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. is seeking a Laborer-Construction to support field operations along the east coast. This hands-on role emphasizes safety, reliability, and willingness to work in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, learning blasting safety, handling materials, and assisting foremen. Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass criminal background check for ATF.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record and own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Company Safety procedures and policies.
• Submit weekly time cards to Blaster/Foreman with accuracy and signature.
• Learn safety aspects of working construction sites and working around explosives.
• Take direction and perform construction laboring activities.
• Work unsupervised occasionally.
• Pump blast holes dry with water pump.
• Load and unload explosives from truck.
• Carry buckets of stemming stone to stem blast holes.
• Maintain clean and organized job site.
• Participate in monthly Foreman, safety and job meetings.
• Participate in daily heads up safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
