Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a dedicated General Laborer/Helper to join Loenbro South - Mechanical in Andrews, TX. This full-time, non-exempt position supports construction crews with site setup, material handling, and basic tool usage, contributing to safe, efficient project completion.

Ideal candidates will have a GED or high school diploma, be able to climb ladders and scaffolds, lift heavy objects, and pass drug screening. A strong teamwork mindset and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma.
• Ability to work from ladders and scaffolds.
• Lift and carry objects and materials of various weights.
• Math skills including fractions (preferred).
• Able to pass preliminary and periodic drug testing (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
• Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact soil.
• Assist with the installation of construction materials, such as pipes, concrete, and steel.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
