Qualifications

Knowledge of materials, methods and tools used in construction.
Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Willingness to work in a team and follow safety procedures.
Must be 18 years or older and able to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

Ensure a safe work environment by following safety policies and OSHA/MSHA rules.
Assist crew with shoveling, raking, and material handling for paving tasks.
Signal equipment operators to aid alignment and material placement.
Follow Foreman directions on daily tasks and project specifics.
May operate small power tools such as a jack hammer as needed.
Digs, levels, lifts, and moves construction materials and tools.
Set up, move, and dismantle signs, barricades, and traffic controls.
Attend work as scheduled and perform other duties as assigned.
