Job summary

H.P. Cummings Construction Company is seeking a Laborer to perform physical labor at various jobsites. The role involves using hand and power tools, cleaning and preparing sites, and assisting other craft workers. Typical hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm with potential overtime; pay ranges from $18-$24 per hour.

Must be able to travel to jobsites and possess a valid driver's license. OSHA 10 training is preferred and will be provided. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but willing to train.
• Must be able to travel to the jobsite(s) within 30 minutes travel time.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• OSHA 10 training preferred, but will provide.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals.
• Strong organization and time management skills; able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.
• Maintains a clean jobsite and secures the area daily.
• Construction, building or demolition work.
• Handles materials and performs loading/unloading of trucks.
• Operates power tools as needed.
• Assists other craft workers and takes directions from supervision.
• Communicates clearly with the team and maintains good attendance.
