Job summary

Glidewell-Laboratories in Irvine, CA is seeking a skilled construction worker to perform drywall finishing up to level 5, framing from plans, and flooring installation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform drywall, framing, flooring, doors/windows, painting, and T-bar installations.
• Maintain organized tool cart and replenish materials as needed.
• Adhere to safety SOPs and wear PPE.
• Track progress and report to supervisor; complete tasks on time.
• Identify efficient methods to complete projects.

Job description

Essential Functions

• Performs construction tasks including, but not limited to:
• Drywall: Up to level 5 finish.
• Framing: Frames from a set of plans, and identifies quantity take off on a project.
• Flooring: Repairs and handles entire flooring projects, including floor preparation, installation and finish work.
• Doors/Windows: Installs framed doors and windows. Identifies and fixes door/window issues.
• Painting: Paint with attention to detail with little to no rework.
• T-bar: Install T-bar ceilings, and has knowledge of ceiling grid terminology and codes.
• Maintains an organized and stocked tool cart/bag. Requests for and/or replenishes materials and supplies as necessary.
• Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and wears protective equipment as required.
• Tracks assigned construction projects/tasks and ensures completion in a timely manner while adhering to operational standards. Communicates progress to project manager and/or supervisor.
• Proactively performs construction projects/tasks, and identifies efficient methods to complete projects/tasks.
• Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at the direction of management.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education level.
• Minimum four (4) years of construction or related experience.

Pay Range: $24.74-27.00/hr.
