Qualifications

• Experience in construction preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and carry construction materials and equipment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Dependable transportation and ability to report to job sites on time.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively with a team.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred.
• OSHA 10 or other construction safety training is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment.
• Prepare and clean job sites, including removing debris and hazards.
• Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and other skilled trades.
• Dig trenches, backfill holes, and perform basic site preparation.
• Use hand and power tools such as drills, saws, hammers, and other construction equipment.
• Set up and take down temporary structures, barriers, and work areas as directed.
• Perform demolition, cleanup, and general labor duties.
• Follow job-site safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow instructions from supervisors, foremen, and skilled tradespeople.
• Perform other construction-related duties as assigned.
