Walsh Group is hiring a Common Laborer for the GDOT SR316 Bundle 2 project in Athens, GA. The role involves physical labor on construction sites, operating hand and power tools as needed, preparing sites, and assisting with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable construction experience preferred.
• Able to climb and balance on scaffold or ladder.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather.
• Follow safety policies and communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor as directed by supervisor.
• Operate hand and power tools as needed.
• Prepare sites, erect scaffolding, dispose of debris.
• Load and unload construction supplies manually and with equipment.
