Job summary

Allan Myers Inc. is seeking an ambitious laborer to join our elite construction team in Williamsburg. This on-site role involves heavy physical duties across a variety of tasks and clear opportunities to grow as you gain experience.

You will dig, shovel, mix and spread materials, move tools and supplies, and support the crew in concrete, pipe and site work. A GED/high school diploma or related experience is required; 1–2 years on construction sites and a valid driver’s license are needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience on construction sites.
• GED/High School diploma or related work experience.
• Trade School a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Digs, spreads, and shovels dirt and gravel using pick and or shovel.
• Lifts, carries and holds building materials, tool and supplies.
• Cleans tools, materials and work areas.
• Mixes, pours and spreads concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other material using hand tools.
• Performs a wide variety of manual tasks including pipe assembly, pipe cutting and laying, removal or forms from set concrete, taking layout shots, directing equipment operators on cuts and fills, etc.

Education
