Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking an ambitious laborer to join our elite team in the Richmond area. This role involves heavy physical duties on unskilled to semi-skilled tasks, with opportunities to advance within the crew to roles like Top Person or Pipe Layer. Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience on construction sites.
• GED or High School diploma or related work experience.
• Trade School a plus.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Digs, spreads, and shovels dirt and gravel using a pick or shovel.
• Lifts, carries and holds building materials, tools and supplies.
• Cleans tools, materials and work areas.
• Mixes, pours and spreads concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other material using hand tools.
• Performs a variety of manual tasks including pipe assembly, pipe cutting and laying, removal of forms from set concrete, taking layout shots, directing equipment operators on cuts and fills.
