Job summary

OnSite Development is seeking a reliable construction laborer to join our crew in Ogden. You’ll support skilled trades on active job sites by moving materials, digging and grading, and setting up scaffolding while keeping the site clean and safe.

You will assist carpenters and superintendents, operate basic hand and power tools, and follow safety protocols. Candidates should be able to lift 50 pounds, be comfortable outdoors in all weather, and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

  • Prior construction or labor experience preferred, but we’ll train motivated beginners.
  • Able to lift fifty pounds and work on your feet all day.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
  • Dig, grade, and prepare ground for foundations, footings and concrete in general.
  • Assist carpenters and superintendents.
  • Set up and take down scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers.
  • Operate hand tools and basic power tools like drills, saws, and jackhammers.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
  • Help with site cleanup and debris removal at the during and at the end of each shift.
