Job summary

Granite Construction Company seeks a versatile construction worker to perform a variety of tasks including erecting, repairing, and finishing concrete as part of our civil projects.

You will measure grades, set forms, operate hand tools, and help install waterworks and structural components. A HS diploma and ability to lift up to 100 pounds are required; prior field experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
• Ability to follow specific directions in a fast-paced field environment.
• Physical capability to perform demanding labor and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Experience in basic construction tasks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions and perform duties as assigned on site.
• Measure distances, set stakes, and align structures to grade.
• Operate or guide construction equipment as required.
• Mix, place, and finish concrete; smooth surfaces with hand tools.
• Set up scaffolding, shoring, and braces as needed.
