Niels Fugal Sons Company, LLC is seeking an entry-level Laborer Gas to help construct and upgrade gas systems. You will perform foundational tasks under supervision, digging trenches, identifying utilities, and assisting with site setup and cleanup.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• No prior experience required; trade or technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from supervisors and crew leaders.
• Dig pits and trenches manually or with mechanical equipment.
• Identify utilities safely in the trench/bore path.
• Restore and landscape disturbed areas of the job site.
• Set up and clean up job sites.
• Clean vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment.
• Attend safety meetings and follow all safety protocols.
• Report unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents to supervisors.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials for job sites.
• Operate basic hand tools as required.

Job description

At Niels Fugal Sons Company, LLC, in the Laborer Gas role, you will assist in constructing and upgrading gas systems, performing entry-level tasks under direct supervision. This is foundational for individuals looking to gain experience in gas utility operations.

What you’ll do

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, operate a vehicle, bend, stoop, stand, walk, utilization of fine hand motion, lift up to 55 pounds, use a keyboard and mouse
• Occasionally: work in confined spaces, use a portable ladder, and climb stairs
