Job summary

Wolfe House & Building Movers is seeking a Construction Laborer to support a site crew in lifting and moving buildings and transporting materials to job sites.

You will assist with cribbing, beams, and hydraulic line work, drive licensed trucks, and help with end-of-day cleanup while staying vigilant about safety hazards.

This full-time on-site role offers year-round work, health benefits, paid holidays, and driver bonuses for qualified CDL holders.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A drivers license is a plus.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work with a site crew to lift and move buildings.
• Assist in loading tool trucks and semi trucks with construction materials and equipment.
• Assist in moving construction materials from trucks to job sites, to ensure materials are ready.
• Set up bases for cribbing piles, ensuring all cribbing piles are straight and level.
• Assist with the installation of beams.
• Drive equipment and trucks as licensed; truck driving bonuses apply for commercial driving.
• Help install jacks, hook up, and test all hydraulic lines to ensure safety.
• Assist in end-of-day construction job site cleanup, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and secure for the night.
• Look out for, recognize, and quickly mitigate any safety hazards on the construction site.
