Job summary

Manatal is seeking Construction Laborers for a large-scale data center project in New Albany, OH. You will assist with installing j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper infrastructure on a fast-paced site.

Qualified candidates have 4–6 months of construction or related experience, strong work ethic, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. OSHA 10 preferred or willingness to obtain. Weekly pay with overtime opportunities and career growth on a premier data center build.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 months or more of commercial/industrial/warehouse construction or general labor experience.
• Interest or experience with installing j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper cabling systems.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools and work on active job sites.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor all day.
• OSHA 10 cert preferred or willingness to obtain before starting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper cabling systems in a new data center.
• Perform cable pulling and routing to support cabling installations.
• Support experienced installers and follow project drawings and safety rules.
• Dress, label, and organize fiber and copper cabling per project requirements.
• Move and stage materials and operate basic tools and equipment safely.
• Work as part of a production-driven team with reliable attendance.

Position Overview

We are seeking hardworking Construction Laborers to support a large-scale data center construction project in New Albany, OH. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with construction experience who are interested in the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper infrastructure within a rapidly growing industry. Previous experience with the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper systems is preferred but not required. We are looking for dependable individuals who can work safely, follow direction, and contribute to a fast-paced environment while learning valuable skills related to the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper pathways.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper cabling systems throughout a new construction data center
• Perform cable pulling and routing activities supporting the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper infrastructure
• Support experienced installers during the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper network pathways
• Install J-hooks, cable trays, supports, and conduit systems used for the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper cabling
• Dress, label, secure, and organize fiber and copper cabling according to project requirements
• Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
• Move and stage materials required for the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper systems
• Follow project drawings, installation standards, and direction from supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety procedures and jobsite requirements
• Work effectively as part of a team in a production-driven environment

Required Qualifications

• 4 to 6 months or more of commercial construction, industrial construction, warehouse construction, electrical helper, low-voltage helper, or general labor experience
• Experience or interest in the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper cabling systems
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Experience working on active commercial construction sites
• Ability to follow directions and maintain consistent productivityComfortable working from ladders, lifts, and elevated work areas
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn a specialized trade
• OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain before starting)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper infrastructure
• Cable pulling, structured cabling, telecommunications, or low-voltage experience
• Experience assisting electricians or telecommunications crews
• Exposure to conduit installation, cable tray systems, and data center construction
• Experience working on data centers, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, or other commercial construction projects
• Familiarity with industry standards related to the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper cabling

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $23-$26 per hour, depending on experience
• Weekly pay
• Consistent overtime opportunities with 10-hour days, Monday through Saturday
