Job summary

The Patch Boys of Greater Omaha is seeking a full-time, multi-skilled drywall repair technician to join our established team. You will work on hanging, patching, texturing, and refinishing walls and ceilings, with responsibility for material estimates, customer communication, and quality workmanship.

• Minimum 6 months drywall experience with texture matching.
• Must own a smartphone with a data plan.

Responsibilities

• Texture and refinish plaster and drywall surfaces.
• Work on new walls, ceilings, and repair existing walls.
• Identify materials and quantities for projects.
• Evaluate requests, price projects, troubleshoot issues, and present a work order description.
• Install wallboard and fasten into position.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on framing, drywall, and trim.
• Install insulation and moisture barrier.
• Remove plaster, drywall, or paneling.

Responsibilities

• Ability to texture and refinish plaster services


• Ability and willingness to work on new walls and ceilings, and repair existing walls.


• Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects.


• Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues and present a description of a work order to a customer.


• Fit and fasten wallboard or sheetrock into specified position


• Measure and mark cutting lines on framing, drywall, and trim


• Install insulation in-between studs and attach a plastic moisture barrier over the installation


• Remove plaster, drywall, or paneling

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 months proven experience in hanging, installing, patching, repairing, and finishing drywall including texture matching. With references.


• Must own a smartphone with a data plan


• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.


• Ability to pass a criminal background check.


• Ability to pass a drug screening.


• Exceptional customer service skills.

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
