This is a hands-on, physical labor position. Some days are long and hard, and some days are shorter and easier depending on the job. Hours vary based on workload, weather, job location, and how quickly the crew gets the work completed.

If you are looking for a job where you can stand around and collect a paycheck, this job is not for you. Employees are expected to show up on time, work hard, stay productive, and work together to get the job done.

• Every day can be different, so applicants need to be willing to learn and willing to help wherever needed.

Schedule:

Hours vary depending on the job. Some days may be longer and overtime may be available. Other days may end earlier once the work is completed.

The harder and more efficiently the crew works, the sooner the job gets finished and everyone can go home. Employees who are dependable, productive, and willing to work generally have the opportunity for more hours.

There are no regularly scheduled weekends or major holidays.

Travel:

Some overnight travel is required. We occasionally have jobs located a few hours away that may require the crew to stay overnight. Details regarding travel, accommodations, and expectations can be discussed during the interview.

Pay:

Pay is based on experience, reliability, work ethic, ability, and performance. Employees who show up consistently, work hard, learn quickly, and take on additional responsibility may have opportunities for increased pay.

We are looking for someone who wants to work, is willing to learn, and understands that construction is physical work. Experience is helpful, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are just as important.
