Job summary

Vaughn Construction, a regional Texas builder, seeks a capable laborer to perform tasks on our commercial projects. You will handle heavy manual work, operate hand and power tools, prepare sites, and help with concrete placement and cleanup.

High school education and 6 months to 1 year of construction experience preferred. You must be able to lift heavy objects, work outdoors in varying conditions, and follow safety rules. This is a full-time on-site role with a family-like team environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform strenuous manual labor on heavy construction projects.
• Unload, carry, place, and tie reinforcing steel and accessories.
• Excavate, fill trenches, and handle materials.
• Finish concrete with hand and power tools; prepare for pours.
• Install embedded items and clean work areas before pours.
• Construct forms for concrete structures per specs.
• Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators, and tampers; use large tools.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Support gate attendants and coordinate with equipment operators.
