McCarthy Building Companies is seeking a Construction Laborer for an exciting project in Chattanooga, TN. You will support experienced carpenters by moving materials, keeping the site clean, and assisting with concrete forming systems for large pours.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of laborer experience on large construction sites and a strong commitment to safety. Night shifts may be required; transportation to the site is needed. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of laborer experience on large construction sites.
• Knowledge of construction terminology.
• Experience with self-perform concrete work.
• Commitment to safety.
• Ability to work night shifts when needed.
• Reliable transportation to job site.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
• Must be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Task Hazard Analysis (THA) meetings.
• Use common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools.
• Complete required training to use personal arrest system.
• Assist carpenters with installation of form systems.
• Measure, mark, and cut materials.
