Job summary

Orkin is hiring in Worthington, OH for a hands-on pest control technician role. You’ll inspect and install home protection systems, perform attic and crawlspace services, and handle light carpentry. You’ll communicate with customers and document reports using a handheld device.

No prior pest control experience required; paid training is provided and opportunities for growth exist within the company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in construction, roofing, HVAC or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to obtain state pesticide license within 90 days (training provided).
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces
• Must wear PPE, including an OSHA‑compliant respirator, as required
