Construction Laborers - Advancement Opportunities - Employee Owned Company

Do you have at least 1-2 years of construction labor experience and are looking for new opportunities?

Wolgast Corporation is seeking hardworking and reliable construction laborers.

Laborers are responsible for various construction tasks including general carpentry, site utilities and preparation, and concrete foundations.

Responsibilities include:

1. Loading, unloading, and moving building materials, tools, and equipment
2. Demolition of walls, buildings, and concrete
3. Cleaning tools and equipment
4. Digging and leveling dirt and other materials
5. Measuring and sawing lumber and other materials
6. Setting and removing concrete forms and spreading concrete with trowels, floats, or screeds
7. Assisting in setting grades, installing catch basins, and underground piping

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include:

• Ability to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Proficiency in operating small engine tools, power saws, and similar equipment
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles
• Ability to work at heights during construction or demolition
• Prefer 1-2 years of construction experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 or older

Other requirements:

• Occasional overnight stays, typically up to five days a week
• Overtime availability on short notice
• Travel with own transportation to project sites
• Drug and alcohol-free environment (subject to testing)
